SAMS Birthday Club - Sunday 23 March 2025

It’s that time again folks, its our favourite Sunday of the Month…..Yep, the one, the only, the mighty SAMS club!.. and at our usual venue - St Michael’s Church! This month happens to be the charity’s 11th birthday! By goodness aren’t we getting old! Time clearly flies, especially when you are having as much fun as we are! So to celebrate this great achievement, we decided to make this month’s club like an actual birthday party! Yup, that’s right, we had balloons, banners and even birthday cake!! Any excuse for a wee celebration and some cake, and here at SAMS Club, we are usually always up for it.

The weather was lovely outside which meant there were plenty fun and games outside as well as in. Since it was a special occasion we hired a bouncy castle for the garden which most of us had a wee shot on (even the adults!) and here was where most of the madness unfolded. We also hired a professional face painter who was available to decorate everyone’s face as scary, cool or pretty as they wanted it! There was also our usual arts and crafts stations and our sennsory corner used for some much-needed chill-out time. And what would a good birthday be without birthday cake? Don’t worry, we got that covered too and we got a huge one!

As well as the cake, there was a Pizza delivery so everyone got yo enjoy a slice. There was also drinks, sweets and crisps to keep everyone energized and in the party spirit!
